Because it’s a hot rod, the engine doesn’t determine the suspension. Many cars with Oldsmobile engines are running Chevelle (A-body), Nova (X-body), or full-size GM front ends. The easiest way to identify it is by looking at the upper control arm mounting style, the shape of the lower control arm, and the coil spring size. Once those match a GM platform, the correct year range, control arms, and bushings can be identified. Ordering parts without confirming this often results in incorrect fitment.
