The stock idler arm in my 1966 el camino, once inserted by the male end of steering linkage, there is a 1/2 inch 1964-1972 Chevrolet Chevelle Monte Carlo El Camino New Idler Arm

gap, even after the nut is torqued. The same issue with the pitman arm. I bought the suspension kit from Anderson. I found the idler arm, but cannot find the pitman arm for same vehicle, thanks.

Thank you for reaching out to us with questions and concerns. We do offer the Idler Arms, but not the Pitman Arms for these Chevrolet Mid Size Vehicles. The Idler Arm for the 1966 El Camino used the 7/8ths Idler Arm, which is K5142. Is that the part number that you received?
